HISTORY
Formed in 1986 by local West Australian surfer and shaper, Chris McKenzie, Oceanline surfboards has enjoyed a reputation of producing well crafted boards of all types. Chris took his labour of love from the 1970's and early 80's of shaping single fins and thrusters for himself and friends who surfed them extensively though Australia's South-West, Bali, and Hawaii and turned it into a surfboard company. Over the years Chris has produced boards for other high-profile shapers and board companies as well as always shaping for his own trusty Oceanline label. For Chris and the team, after 25 years of producing surfboards, it still remains a labour of love!

The Oceanline factory encompasses every aspect of manufacturing a surfboard relating to quality and performance. With some of the most experienced craftsmen on Australia’s west coast, Oceanline's focus still remains on producing custom surfboards for everyone - from pros to seasoned veterans to beginners. We value all of our customers equally and we believe by creating a relationship between surfers and shapers, we can create the perfect board for you. We are so confident in our work, that we will even allow you to try one of our boards before committing to buying one (see shop page for details).
